Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Plantiter collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is provided in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 22575 et seq.).

Who we are

Plantiter is a sole proprietorship owned by Carl Antoni Plantiter, 110 Creeks Edge Way, Sacramento, CA 95823. Questions about this policy: contact@plantiter.shop.

Information we collect

You give us: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number (if provided), order contents, and any message you send us.

Collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. Our store platform sets cookies necessary to operate the cart, checkout, and account login.

We never see your full payment card number. Card details go directly to our payment processor.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to operate the store — cart contents, checkout state, account login, and session security. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but the store will not function correctly without them.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-accepted standard for responding to these signals, and we do not currently respond to them. We also do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities across other websites when you visit our store.

Your California privacy rights

Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83): California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures. To confirm this in writing, email contact@plantiter.shop.

Access and correction: you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@plantiter.shop and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to retain order records to meet tax obligations even after a deletion request.

Data retention

Order records are kept for seven years to satisfy federal and California tax recordkeeping requirements. Inquiry emails are deleted once the matter is resolved and no recordkeeping obligation applies.

Children

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Our store runs over TLS encryption throughout. Payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS certified provider. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will post the revised policy here and update the effective date above. Significant changes affecting how we use information already collected will be announced by email where we have your address.
